About us
Enterprise Britain is a movement of entrepreneurs, business leaders, and investors who are compelled to act, now, to build a better future for the UK.
We are focused on driving action, not just generating ideas. We are not a think tank; we are a movement of people who have been at the frontlines of building some of Britain's most successful and innovative businesses.
Here’s what we do:
- We lead a national conversation. We’re here to talk about ambition and how to inspire it. To shine a spotlight on success and celebrate it. To gain support for bold reforms and mobilise it.
- We shape bold policies. Our movement holds invaluable experience and insight about how to scale businesses and grow our economy. We draw on this to develop new ideas, refine them, and ensure they are heard at the highest levels.
- We bring people together. Across the UK, there is a huge appetite for practical, real-world ideas and a restoration of national self-belief. We are here to channel that energy, to foster collaboration, conversation, and — most importantly — action.
About you
We’re looking for a creative, fast-moving Content Creator who can turn ideas into compelling content that cuts through. In a fast-moving organisation like ours, speed and quality matter equally. That means you are:
- Passionate about our mission. You believe in the power of business to drive growth and shared prosperity — and you want to help tell that story.
- A storyteller. You have a strong instinct for what makes content engaging. You know how to hook an audience, simplify complex ideas, and make them resonate.
- Adept across multiple platforms: You understand how content works across different channels and how to tailor format, tone, and structure accordingly.
- Fast and responsive. You are comfortable working at pace, turning around high-quality content quickly, and reacting to moments in the news cycle.
- Curious and informed. You stay on top of political, economic, and cultural developments, and can spot opportunities to contribute to the conversation.
- Collaborative. You work well with others and can translate ideas into clear, compelling outputs.
- Tech-savvy: You use AI and digital tools to enhance your productivity and creativity; you’re always looking for better ways to create and distribute content.
About the day-to-day
You will be responsible for creating and delivering content that brings our ideas and campaigns to life, working closely with our Communications Director and wider team.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Content creation: Producing high-quality content across formats — including social posts, short-form video, graphics, explainers, and longer-form pieces — ensuring everything is clear, engaging, and on-message.
- Campaign support: Working closely with colleagues to translate policy ideas, reports, and campaigns into compelling, shareable content.
- Video and visual storytelling: Creating simple but effective video content (e.g. talking-head clips, explainers, event content) and visual assets that help our ideas reach wider audiences.
- Finding and managing freelancers: Helping build our roster of freelance designers, video editors, animators, and other creative talent, ensuring they are properly briefed, and reviewing their work.
- Platform optimisation: Tailoring content for different channels, understanding what performs well on each, and continuously refining your approach based on performance.
- Rapid response: Monitoring the news cycle and identifying opportunities to create timely, relevant content that advances our agenda.
- Content planning: Supporting the development and delivery of our content calendar, ensuring a consistent and strategic flow of output.
- Stakeholder collaboration: Working with our Advisory Board and broader network to capture insights, surface stories, and amplify credible voices.
- Experimentation: Testing new formats, ideas, and approaches to increase reach and engagement, and learning quickly from what works.
