Martha Lane Fox is an entrepreneur, crossbench peer, and digital leader whose career spans technology, media, public policy, and commercial life. She co-founded lastminute.com, one of Europe’s earliest e-commerce businesses, and later served as the UK’s Digital Champion, co- founding GOV.UK and driving digital inclusion. She is also co-founder of Lucky Voice, with 6 karaoke bars in London.

Her board experience spans high-growth ventures to major global brands, including Channel 4, Marks & Spencer, and Twitter, where she was closely involved in the company’s sale to Elon Musk.

In the House of Lords, she sits as a crossbench peer.

Martha served as President of the British Chambers of Commerce until January 2026 and is Chancellor of The Open University. She chairs the British Business Council (ending early 2026) and is a non-executive director of British Airways, Chanel, and Multiverse.
