Enterprise Britain Co-Chair Brent Hoberman joined Lizzie Burden on Bloomberg’s Opening Trade programme to discuss the launch of Enterprise Britain and the publication of our first report, “Time to Act".
The conversation explored some of the key themes from the report — from how to ensure more Britons directly benefit from business success, to what it will take to make Britain the destination of choice for the world's best talent.
During the interview, Brent argued that the UK has significant strengths to build on, but that fulfilling the country’s potential requires a change in our policies and culture:
“We have to be bolder, we have to act faster, and we have to take more risks."
