"Burnham must not wait until the Autumn Budget to set out his plans. We cannot afford months of uncertainty and speculation.
"We've seen what Burnham delivered in Greater Manchester when entrepreneurs, investors, and universities pulled in the same direction. Our community stands ready to help him deliver on a national scale."
